This set comprises three pairs of antique gloves from different periods of fashion history, each illustrating the evolving styles and materials of the 19th and early 20th centuries.

The oldest pair, made of soft purple goatskin, dates to the 1860s Victorian era. These gloves feature an elegant lace‑up closure and are adorned with decorative pompoms, reflecting the refined yet playful detailing characteristic of mid‑Victorian women’s accessories.

The second pair, crafted from blue goatskin, likely dates to circa 1890–1900. They close with a metal press‑stud and retain their original maker’s label on the inside. Their clean lines and practical fastening reflect the more streamlined aesthetic of late‑Victorian and early‑Edwardian glove design.

The youngest pair shows early 20th‑century styling, with beautifully stitched darts on the back of the hand and a striking black‑and‑cream striped wrist section. They are marked “Noblesse”, a brand associated with fashionable, high‑quality accessories of the period.

All three pairs show signs of wear, including minor stains and areas of abrasion. However, their unusual colours, distinctive closures and decorative details make them exceptional survivors and highly collectible examples of historic leather gloves.
