This exquisite belt buckle, a testimony to the fine craftsmanship of the Biedermeier period, comes from France and is characterized by its elegant design and detailed decoration. Made from silver and hallmarked on the shackle, although the hallmark is not clearly legible, it stands out with its unusual shape and ornate decoration.
The buckle is designed in the shape of a heart, which is set with sparkling rhinestones and unfolds an enchanting shine in any light. Two graceful swans are enthroned on the upper edge, leaning gracefully over the buckle. These two filigree birds are connected with a magnificent bow made of green rhinestones, which further emphasizes their grace and elegance.
The design is complemented by two semi-circular stones that give the buckle additional depth and dimension. The masterful craftsmanship and careful selection of materials make this piece of jewelry a real eye-catcher and a valuable collector's item.
Preserved in an excellent state of preservation, the belt buckle tells of a bygone era and the attention to detail that makes the art of the Biedermeier period so special. A true gem that fascinates not only with its beauty, but also with its history.
