This antique linen ensemble, dating to circa 1910, is a beautifully preserved example of American Edwardian fashion, combining functionality and elegance in a style that reflects the transitional spirit of the early 20th century. Crafted from high-quality linen, a material prized at the time for its lightness and durability, the outfit includes a jacket, skirt, and blouse, each adorned with thoughtful details.
The jacket and skirt are trimmed with wide borders of fine lace, a hallmark of Edwardian luxury, lending the ensemble a sophisticated and feminine look. Both pieces feature decorative buttons, and the jacket is distinguished by a sailor collar - a fashionable accent of the era that added a sporty yet refined touch to women’s daywear.
Despite its age, the ensemble is in very good condition, with only minor signs of wear: some torn lace threads, relocated buttons, light discoloration at the armpits and hem, and a repaired waistband on the skirt. A few tiny stains are present but do not detract from the overall presentation.
The accompanying blouse is particularly noteworthy, featuring a stylish collar, gathered cuffs, and a front closure—typical of the period’s tailored silhouettes. It remains in very good condition. Please note: the brooch shown in some images is not included.
Measurements:
Waist: approx. 78 cm
Chest: approx. 94 cm

This rare Edwardian linen day ensemble is ideal for collectors of antique women’s fashion, historical textiles, or museum-quality garments, offering a graceful glimpse into the refined practicality of 1910s American style.
