This rare antique jacket made from Tenerife lace, dating to around 1911 and originating from America, is an exquisite example of early 20th‑century craftsmanship. Tenerife lace—also known as needle lace—is celebrated for its fine, complex openwork patterns, created through a labor‑intensive technique in which circular medallions are formed by cutting, grouping, and stitching threads into intricate motifs. Each piece required exceptional skill, making garments like this true works of wearable art.

The jacket is crafted from delicate ecru Tenerife lace, displaying beautifully executed medallions and openwork structures. It remains in very good condition, with only subtle signs of wear on the collar and a few torn or pulled threads, entirely appropriate for a lace garment of this age. Its measurements are: chest approx. 90 cm, waist approx. 70 cm, length approx. 75 cm.

Tenerife lace garments are highly sought after by collectors of antique fashion, historic lacework, and museum‑quality textiles, as they embody both technical mastery and cultural significance. This jacket would make an exceptional addition to any collection and a striking garment for special occasions. Decorative accessories shown in photos are not included.
