This rare set of miniature colored top hats, dating to the Golden 1920s, comes from the estate of a Berlin variety artist who performed at the legendary Friedrichstadt-Palast—a vibrant center of Weimar-era cabaret and revue culture. Crafted in the chapeau claque style, these small-scale hats were likely used as stage props or costume accessories, adding theatrical flair to performances of the time.

Each hat features a modern elastic chin band for display or wear, and retains its original structure with discreet signs of age and wear. Measuring approx. 7 cm in height and 12.5 × 15 cm in diameter, they are very well preserved considering their age and stage history.

This rare ensemble of 1920s Berlin variety top hats is ideal for collectors of antique costume pieces, cabaret memorabilia, or museum-quality theatrical accessories, offering a playful and glamorous glimpse into the artistry and exuberance of Weimar-era performance culture.
