These antique riding boots with original wooden shoe lasts were made by Wilhelm Breitsprecher, Berlin, a renowned purveyor to the court and one of the most prestigious bootmakers of the late 19th and early 20th century. The interior of the boots is stamped in gold lettering with the name Breitsprecher alongside the coats of arms of the noble houses he supplied, confirming their origin from his exclusive workshop.

The boots and their matching shoe lasts / shoe trees are preserved in original, untreated condition, showing only subtle signs of wear consistent with careful use. Their excellent state of preservation, combined with their documented provenance, makes them an exceptionally rare find on the collectors’ market.

As a purveyor to the court, Breitsprecher held a privileged status, supplying high‑quality goods and services to royal and aristocratic households—an endorsement of craftsmanship, prestige, and trust. These riding boots exemplify that tradition, offering a tangible link to the world of imperial equestrian culture, German court craftsmanship, and historic luxury leatherwork.

Highly desirable for collectors of militaria, equestrian antiques, court suppliers, and German imperial history, this pair represents a remarkable and authentic piece of early 20th‑century craftsmanship.
