Very distinctive boudoir gown, ca. 1877, origin: America. Made from a thin batiste, decorated with lace at the front. Gowns of this type were worn by the lady of the house in the early morning - often casually pulled over her dressing gown. She was still in her boudoir - accompanied at most by her chambermaid. Long train with a Watteau pleat. ¾-length sleeves. Fastens at the front with small buttons. In very good condition. Very few light stains. One hole in the hem turned inwards (not visible from the outside). The decoration is not included.
