A rare antique linen jacket crafted from deep blue linen fabric and richly embellished with soutache appliqués, this early 20th‑century piece originates from the Valentine Museum in America. The front is adorned with two Art Nouveau buttons, adding a distinctive decorative accent to the jacket’s elegant, edged and pointed chest neckline. Each sleeve features additional decorative buttons, while the wavy hem gives the silhouette a soft, dynamic finish.
The interior is lined with silk, including a small inside pocket, reflecting the garment’s refined craftsmanship. The neckline is reinforced with a cord—partially detached from age—which would need a simple stitch to secure again. The antique jacket remains in very good condition, showing only minimal signs of wear consistent with its age. The necklace shown in the photos is not included.
