Biedermeier Stomacher, Germany, ca. 1840

Rare stomacher for a Biedermeier dress, ca. 1840. Cream-coloured lace on a red background. Decorated with nile blue silk bows. Original ribbons. On the back a typical fabric from the Biedermeier period. Conical form. Very well preserved. Discreet stains and wear marks.
