These very nice antique walking or street shoes, dating to around 1901, are made of soft, shiny leather and exemplify the refined elegance of early Edwardian footwear. The shoes feature a triple strap fastening, each strap closing with a button - an attractive and practical design typical of the period. The round toe section and gold‑coloured shoe buckles add further charm and visual interest.
The shoes are set on graceful Louis heels, decorated with beautiful darts that highlight the craftsmanship of the era. Their condition is very good, with only subtle signs of age and wear, entirely appropriate for antique shoes of this type.
A well‑preserved and highly collectible example of antique early‑20th‑century footwear, ideal for enthusiasts of antique historic shoes, Edwardian fashion, and museum‑quality leather accessories.
