Antique Quilted Beach Bag, France, ca. 1926

This charming quilted silk beach bag was likely worn as part of a coordinated beach outfit in the early 20th century. Generously sized, it offers enough room to carry several personal items, making it both practical and decorative. The bag features beautifully hand‑painted wooden handles, each brushstroke adding individuality and craftsmanship to the piece.
