This cream‑blue coat, dating to around 1928, is an elegant example of late‑1920s London fashion and bears the prestigious label Éve Valére, 89 Knightsbridge, SW. Éve Valére was a London‑based court dressmaker and costume designer, known for refined silhouettes and luxurious materials. The coat’s pattern and color composition show a subtle affinity with Art Deco aesthetics, reflecting the modernist spirit of the decade.

The cut is graceful and elongated, typical of late‑1920s outerwear, and the coat is designed to be tied at the front with a decorative lacing, creating a soft, feminine line. The interior is lined with thin silk, adding comfort and fluidity to the garment. The lining is broken in the collar area and may require full replacement, but the exterior remains beautifully preserved. Only a few small stains are present. Decorative items shown in photographs are not included.

This coat is a rare surviving example of 1920s London couture and the refined craftsmanship associated with Knightsbridge ateliers. Its combination of soft colors, elegant cut, and subtle Art Deco influence makes it an exceptional piece for collectors, costume historians, and admirers of early 20th‑century fashion.
