A Large and Rather Delicious Ostrich Feather Fan, 1920s. The colours shading from dark ginger to salted caramel, ending in soft mustard. The two guards and five inner sticks are speckled, and formed from a man-made material in imitation of tortoiseshell. Very good condition. One feather is somewhat floppy, but the spine is not broken, more likely a thread is needed to secure.
