Black Ostrich Feather Fan, Noble Property, ca. 1895

Ostrich feather fan, circa 1895, black feathers that are smooth to the touch. Perhaps the typical “ruffle” of the ostrich feathers has been trimmed to give the fan a certain elegance, but also austerity. Rods made from “false” tortoiseshell. Cover stick with a small gold-colored crown. Very good condition. Only one “eye” on the bow has been lost. This does not affect the functionality of this very beautiful fan. The decoration is not included.
