Chemise and Bloomers, Spain, ca. 1918

Two-piece underwear ensemble consisting of a negligee and a pair of underpants, ca. 1918. Origin: Spain. Both pieces have integrated lace medallions. Depicted is a Spanish beauty with her hair pinned up. She is reminiscent of a flamenco dancer. Well preserved. Silk ribbons are worked into both pieces, which are worn (probably due to washing). The waist of the trousers can be adjusted with a string and is therefore flexible.
