Enchanting blouse made from a successful combination of Irish lace, white embroidery, cotton fabric and Maltese lace. Small V-neckline. Long sleeves with a flounce. Back closure with small buttons. It was a characteristic of Edwardian blouses that several materials or types of lace were combined. In very good condition.
Maltese Lace (in Maltese: Bizzilla) is an artistic bobbin lace that originated in Malta. It belongs to the guipure lace, which means that it is worked without a net ground.
