Rare salt cellar from the estate of Kaiser Wilhelm II.
900 silver, the inside of the bowls (in the shape of shells) gilded.
Eagle as handle, four claws as feet.
Stamp on the back by Sy & Wagner, purveyors to the court, Berlin.
Monogram of Wilhelm, Prince of Prussia, later Emperor Wilhelm II (see excerpt from the catalog of the great Prussian action of 2002; here the coat of arms is shown with this provenance reference)

These salt cellars are extremely rare. They are the rarest pieces from the table of Kaiser Wilhelm II. Only a few pieces were sold at the great Prussian auction in 2002.
