DUVELLEROY Fan, ca. 1890

Antique ostrich feather fan, female, ca. 1890. In original Duvelleroy fitted box, the monture tortoiseshell, with shaped tip and head, the upper guard with additional curly feathers which could be attached to a head dress, overall height approx. 47 cm, span approx. 85 cm. The fan is in good clean condition, the box has some staining and part of the lid is lifting. Very rare to find.
