Antique Men's Theater Crown, Germany, ca. 1890-1910

Wow! This exquisite antique headdress comes from a German collection of theatrical jewelry. Very artistically crafted. And older than you might think. It probably dates from the period between 1890-1910. Actors wore it on stage in roles involving a king, such as King Lear or King David. 

In very good to excellent condition. Original condition. Nothing altered. 

Very, very rare to find. Even rarer are these pieces offered for sale. Most are in private collections.
