This elegant three-piece walking ensemble, dating to circa 1904, originates from France and reflects the refined charm of Belle Époque fashion. Comprising a bolero-style top, a long skirt, and a lace blouse, the set exemplifies the era’s attention to layered silhouettes, textural contrast, and decorative detail.
The bolero jacket, shorter than typical walking dress jackets, was designed to reveal the blouse and belt beneath - a fashionable choice in early 20th-century women's daywear. It is adorned with trimmings and openwork embroidery, and fastens at the front with buttons, though it was often worn open for a relaxed yet elegant look.
The straight-cut skirt echoes the jacket’s decorative motifs (without openwork), falling gracefully to approx. 102 cm in length. The accompanying lace blouse features long sleeves, a high stand-up collar, and a press-stud front closure, offering a delicate counterpoint to the structured outer layers.
The ensemble is in very good condition, with all original elements preserved. Please note: belt and brooch shown in some images are not included.

Bust: approx. 87 cm
