This elegant vintage wedding dress has a straight cut with a low waist. It was worn in England around 1927, making it a true piece of 1920s bridal fashion. The dress itself has an underdress made of lace at the front and around the hem. The rest is made of chiffon – just like the chiffon overdress. Short sleeves, which also have lace on the inside, add a delicate touch. A small, playful bow sits in the U-shaped neckline.
The dress comes with a long, rectangular train made of devoré velvet, featuring two decorative tassels, a lamé edge, and a chiffon underside. Accessories include leather gloves, a small wax flower wreath, the matching belt, and the original 1920s wedding shoes. The latter were probably only worn once. This extraordinary vintage bridal set is now for sale.
The dress is in very good condition – apart from some underarm stains, which have slightly affected the fabric. The rest of the ensemble is in very good to excellent condition.
