Wearing jewelry made of hair was in keeping with the veneration of memories. The hair of loved ones was made into small mementos, such as this watch chain. This elaborately bobbin-lace watch chain made of hair accompanied the man throughout the day. The initials D.B. are attached to the yellow metal centerpiece. Very elaborate and beautiful work. Good to very good condition.
