Unfinished Cloche, 1920s

Unfinished bell hat made of straw, 1920s. Origin: England. With the original paper label from the time. The hat is not decorated. Possibly silk or velvet (or other material) had yet to be applied by a hat modiste, a so-called finisher (german: Aufputzerin). Very well preserved.
