Powder Box, France, ca. 1920

Typical powder compact from the 1920s. Often seen in old advertisements, but hardly to be found today. They are made of cardboard and were a disposable product even back then. This one has survived because it may have been forgotten and because it still contains a little old powder. Very beautiful and decorative.
