The boudoir bonnets or lingerie caps of the 1920s were an enchanting accessory for intimate women's fashion - a mixture of functionality and playful elegance. They were worn in the bedroom, often when applying make-up, doing hair or sleeping. It was used to protect the hairstyle or simply to look stylish.
Boudoir cap or bonnet from England, 1920s. Made of lace. On one side there is a bow made of pink silk, on the other side a flower made of fabric. Small fabric flowers are attached in the shape of a hair band. Good to very good condition. The silk bow is shattered. The decoration is not included.
