The boudoir bonnets or lingerie caps of the 1920s were an enchanting accessory for intimate women's fashion - a mixture of functionality and playful elegance. They were worn in the bedroom, often when applying make-up, doing hair or sleeping. It was used to protect the hairstyle or simply to look stylish.
Boudoir hood made of white cotton fabric, ca. 1910, decorated with lace. Original chin straps. These are tied together - somewhat concealed - to form a bow. In good to very good condition. Subtle signs of age and wear. The chin straps have a few small holes.
