This antique postcard (carte de visite or cabinet) table top viewer date from ca. 1905. Marked with: D.R.G.M. = Deutsche Reichs-Gebrauchsmuster, the German imperial patent sign since 1891. Also marked with: „G. C. & Co. N.“ (probably the initials of the manufacturer). This antique graphoscope with lens features a moving easel, adjustable viewing angle and adjustable picture cradle. Made of wood. The graphoscope measures 10 1/2 inch tall x 8 inch deep. The magnifying glass has a diameter of 3 1/2". In good condition, with manifest signs of use and age. This unique graphoscope would make a nice addition to your current antique vintage collection, for use or display. The original antique cabinet-card with the German crown-prince and his family, ca. 1895, is included.
